On 2 June 2026, Polyteck took part in a charity golf tournament at Coombe Hill Golf Club, Kingston. The event was organised in support of Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity, our official partner for 2026. Dave Bryan, Darren Wills and Simon Hatton represented Polyteck on the day. Together, they joined players and supporters raising more than £70,000 for seriously ill children across the UK.

A Charity Day with Real lmpact

The Rays of Sunshine Charity Golf Day brought together sponsors, supporters, and players at one of Kingston’s finest courses. The atmosphere on the day reflected what the event stands for: generosity, community, and a shared commitment to doing something meaningful.

Polyteck was proud to be among those who showed up, not just to play, but to contribute to a total that will directly fund wishes for children facing the most difficult of times.

The day raised more than £70,000. That is an outstanding result. The funds go directly toward granting wishes for children aged 3 to 18 across the UK. For example, Rays of Sunshine delivers magical wishes, Sunshine Boxes filled with toys and treats, and hospital events for families. In addition, this result strengthens Polyteck’s commitment to this partnership throughout 2026.

Why Polyteck Supports Charity Golf Events

Polyteck believes businesses have a role beyond the work they deliver each day. Therefore, we look for meaningful ways to give back. Participating in a charity golf tournament is one of those ways. It brings our team together. It also creates a tangible contribution to a cause we genuinely support.

Supporting Rays of Sunshine Throughout 2026

The golf day is one of several events we have supported this year. Earlier in 2026, our team held a bake sale that raised over £500 for the charity. Furthermore, our commitment goes beyond individual events. It is about sustained, visible support throughout the year. Ultimately, every event helps grant a wish for a child who truly deserves one.

How You Can Support

Rays of Sunshine relies on the generosity of individuals and organisations to continue their work. If you would like to support a child who truly deserves one wish, you can donate directly at Rays of Sunshine. Together, through events like this charity golf tournament, we can help spread more sunshine for the children who need it most.
