Polyteck has strengthened its position in the social housing sector after being appointed to five lots on Procurement for Housing’s (PfH) Responsive Repairs, Disrepair Works and Void Services Framework. Valued at an estimated £725 million across 11 lots, the framework covers responsive repairs, void property refurbishment and disrepair works. This appointment enables Polyteck to support housing providers across London in maintaining safe, well-kept homes for their residents.
Overview of Procurement for Housing (PfH)
Procurement for Housing (PfH) is a national procurement consortium that supports social housing providers throughout the UK. The new framework offers housing associations, local authorities and other organisations managing social housing portfolios an established and compliant route to procure essential services. Polyteck’s five lots span three key service areas: responsive repairs, void property refurbishment and disrepair works.

A Quality-Led Selection Process
The PfH procurement process placed a clear emphasis on quality, with 60 per cent of the evaluation based on quality and 40 per cent on price. The assessment considered each supplier’s ability to deliver the required services, including operational resilience, mobilisation and programming. Social and environmental impact also formed an important part of the evaluation. As a result, Polyteck’s appointment reflects both its operational capability and its commitment to delivering positive outcomes for residents and communities.
Polyteck’s Role in Social Housing
This appointment builds on Polyteck’s established relationship with Procurement for Housing, following its earlier selection for the PfH Planned Works Framework. Polyteck’s selection for the CHIC framework for kitchen and bathroom renewals further demonstrates its dedication to improving living conditions in social housing. Furthermore, Polyteck is one of the suppliers included in Fusion21’s Building Improvements Framework. Together, these frameworks position Polyteck to support councils and housing associations across planned, responsive and void works, with a consistent focus on reliability, compliance and quality workmanship.

John Polycarpou, Chairman of Polyteck, said:
“This appointment is an important milestone for Polyteck and reflects the strength of the experience and capability we have built within the social housing sector.
“Being appointed to the Procurement for Housing framework gives us the opportunity to build on our existing relationships and experience in responsive repairs, disrepair and void services, while developing new partnerships with housing providers across London.
“Our ambition is not simply to secure work through the framework. We want to develop long-term relationships with housing providers by delivering a service that is reliable, responsive and focused on residents. For us, that means getting repairs right the first time, communicating well with residents and clients, maintaining high standards of compliance and quality, and taking ownership when challenges arise.”
Polyteck’s appointment to the Procurement for Housing framework marks a significant step in its continued commitment to the social housing sector. By delivering responsive repairs, disrepair works and void services across London, Polyteck aims to help housing providers keep homes safe, well maintained and ready for residents. This achievement reflects the dedication of the Polyteck team and its focus on building long-term partnerships that make a lasting difference to communities.
