On Friday 10 July, Polyteck held a charity football match at Chelsea Barracks, bringing together 30 players across six departments for a day of competition, camaraderie, and community spirit. The event raised funds for Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity, our official charity partner for 2026. Every player, volunteer, and supporter on the day helped make it happen.

A Charity Football Day to Remember

Chelsea Barracks provided a fitting venue for the occasion. Six department teams took to the pitch, each competing with energy and enthusiasm. The matches were competitive throughout. At the same time, the atmosphere remained friendly and full of sportsmanship. It was exactly the kind of day that brings a team together beyond the office.

Congratulations to the Winning Team

Special congratulations go to Team 5, who took the top spot on the day. Bruce Jeffery, Mark Martin, Kostian Bardhi, Adrian Jarzebowski, and Belal Sesay played with real quality and deserved their win. Well played to all six teams for making the event enjoyable, competitive, and memorable from start to finish.

Why This Charity Football Match Mattered

Every penny raised on the day goes directly to Rays of Sunshine. The charity grants magical wishes, delivers Sunshine Boxes filled with toys and treats, and runs joyful hospital events for seriously ill children and their families across the UK. Furthermore, as Polyteck’s official partner for 2026, we build every event on a commitment that runs throughout the year.

Part of a Year-Long Partnership with Rays of Sunshine

The football match is the latest in a series of events Polyteck has supported in 2026. Earlier this year, our team held a bake sale. In addition, our team took part in the Rays of Sunshine Charity Golf Day at Coombe Hill Golf Club, helping raise more than £70,000 alongside players and supporters from across the industry. Together, these events reflect Polyteck’s commitment to making a sustained, meaningful contribution throughout the year.

Thank You to Everyone Who Supported the Day

None of this would have been possible without the generosity and enthusiasm of everyone involved. Whether you played, contributed, volunteered, or came along to cheer, you were part of something that will grant a wish for a child who truly deserves one. We look forward to seeing you at our next charity event.
