We are especially proud to support Communities and Housing Investment in People – an organisation dedicated to helping individuals who are distanced from the workforce gain valuable skills and access employment opportunities.
CHIC Charity Golf Day – July 2nd
On July 2nd, Polyteck took part in the CHIC Charity Golf Day at Stratford Park Golf & Country Club. The event was a fantastic blend of friendly competition, team spirit, and collective purpose – all in support of Communities and Housing Investment in People’s vital mission.
The day began with breakfast and registration at 9:30 am, followed by a welcome and briefing before teams headed out for a shotgun start. With a challenging course and a lively, encouraging atmosphere, the event highlighted the power of community and collaboration.
Team Polyteck Won
Polyteck was proudly represented by two enthusiastic teams, led by captains Hunter Nunez and Nemendra Singh. They were joined by colleagues Dan Mara, Charlie, Darren Wills, Dave Bryan, and Simon, all of whom brought energy, determination, and a strong team spirit to the course.
Hunter’s team claimed first place with an impressive score of 123 points, while Nemendra’s team also performed admirably, finishing with 98 points. It was a day marked by effort, unity, and shared pride.

This year’s event raised over £6,000 for Communities and Housing Investment in People, with Polyteck further contributing by donating two Tottenham Hotspur tickets to the charity raffle, helping to maximise the fundraising total.
