The air conditioning is the best solution when you walk into the office one summer day and everyone is snoring loudly, perhaps they have been working hard:

Or, it could be because the air conditioning has broken down or it’s just not up to the job anymore!

Why Air Conditioning is an excellent solution

During hot weather people working indoors need a comfortable room temperature to work efficiently. If the office is too hot your staff will begin to feel lethargic and sleepy and this will slow down production.

Some offices aren’t able to open windows to bring in cool air (such as because of noise pollution) and so air conditioning generates an optimum working environment and helps to prevent that afternoon slump!

Many air conditioning units also include air purifiers and humidifiers because this helps to reduce dust particles and bacteria. An energy efficient system can also mean lower utility bills.

New air con systems

Air con systems for a small workspace can be supplied with a split system, which consists of an indoor unit for each room or space and one or more condensers outside the building.

Larger spaces can take advantage of a VRV air conditioning system which allows the temperature in each area to be controlled independently, so if you have a storage area which needs to be cooler than a working area, the temperatures can be controlled accordingly.

There are a wide range of new systems and instalment methods, and we can do the installation of all of them. For example new builds can use ducted air con where everything is hidden under a false ceiling which is ideal in industrial or commercial premises.

Offices can hide the cable work under a suspended ceiling and hotels often use a cassette system, where the unit is hidden behind a grill in the hall or ceiling and is hardly noticeable. Floor mounted units are also useful where a ceiling or wall can’t be touched.
