At Polyteck Group, we take pride in supporting our community. As a leading construction and facilities management business, we recently donated our expertise and materials to complete a £10,000 refurbishment project for Radiomarathon, an Enfield-based charity.
Our team of three engineers from our building maintenance division carried out a full refurbishment of the charity’s community centre toilet facilities, ensuring they are modern, functional, and accessible.
Radiomarathon’s mission is to empower people with learning disabilities, along with their families and carers. Moreover, their Enfield centre serves as a vital space for volunteers and local community football teams. Therefore, maintaining its facilities in excellent condition is essential.
Over the course of a week, we transformed the space with newly built WC cubicles, upgraded lighting, and modern sanitary ware, providing all labour and materials completely free of charge.
Andrew French, our Operations Manager, shared his thoughts:
“Radiomarathon provides a vital lifeline for people with learning disabilities and offers some of the best and most sought-after facilities in the area. We’re proud to play our part in maintaining this reputation and supporting the important work they do.”
Clifford Tolliday from Radiomarathon added:
“Thanks to support like this, we can continue delivering much-needed services to young adults. With mild to moderate learning difficulties, as well as their families and carers. A huge thank you to Polyteck and the team for all their help.”
At Polyteck, we actively make a real difference in the communities we serve. Through projects like this, we aim to create a lasting impact by improving essential spaces that support those in need.
